"My problem? I was looking to meet power partners who could refer me to their clients for my image consulting, wardrobe analysis and personal shopping serves.

My action taken? I met Susan of Balanced Spaces, a home and office organizer. I encouraged her to join Denise’s Executive Women’s Partnership Forum. Subsequently she asked me to be a speaker at her monthly professional trade association meeting (National Association of Professional Organizers) where I spoke on “Dressing Professionally in a Casual World”.

My result? Not only have I received qualified referrals from Susan, I am now getting referrals from the organizers in her association to help their clients with image and wardrobe services. Also, Susan gave me an excellent client. She bought the whole package. Image, wardrobe and shopping. I have a shopping appointment already set up. Also, I just got a call from a previous client to do a spring wardrobe plan (Washington Women ad). I am getting the idea that my target clients are all working-women. Sound familiar?
