Thinking about starting your own business – or wondering if the business you already own is really for you, or you need to make changes now to move to the next level? Provided to us by Women’s Community Vice President of Entrepreneurship Linda Hollander, this short quiz will help you find the answers to these questions.

 

To see if you have the right stuff to fly solo in your own business, take this short quiz. Answer each question honestly with a number between 1 and 5.

 

1 = Never

2 = Rarely

3 = Sometimes

4 = Usually

5 = Always

  Success Story

Our special July 12th Power Mixer for Women’s Community was a smashing success!

 

Solutions and breakthroughs were realized on how to sell more effectively for greater revenues and profits. We also had more women show up than had registered and we had expected. The synergy and enthusiasm was contagious regarding the potential of Women’s Community. The Women’s Community team also grew as more women joined to become a part of this elite and unique venture.

 

Women’s Community also launched a new benefit for Specialty Leaders, called Power Teams. These monthly teleconferences focus on business challenges and breakthrough solutions for greater results.

Don Treinen just completed an engagement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division (NAD). NAD stretches from New England to Norfolk, VA and provides a wide range of operational and regulatory permitting services to both public and private clients. During the conference, several facilitated sessions were held and the attendees concluded their work by developing a range of action and implementation plans to be carried out over the next several years. A key component of the work was to develop a strategy to deal with substantial personnel changes over the next five years.

 

Don reports that the engagement was very enjoyable. Utilizing his skills as a certified professional facilitator, his work was ranked at the Excellent/Very Good range in post-session evaluations.

 

As a result of this engagement, Dynamic Destiny Partnerships has become a registered company approved to do business with federal, state and local governmental agencies.
